Founded in 2019 The Golf Path Academy is located at the Richmond Golf Club in Richmond, CA. PGA Member Jon Guntrum has spent his career working with students of all ages and skill levels. With over 15 years of teaching experience he has held positions at Burlingame Country Club in Hillsborough, CA. and as the Head Golf Professional at Berkeley Country Club, CA. Our Academy and this page will always be dedicated to the improvement, promotion and advancement of our Junior golfers. This page in particular is created solely to showcase our juniors for College coaches. Hi, My name is Kirin Kim. I am 9 years old and I live in Lafayette, California. I am a rising 5th grader at Bentley Elementary School. I enjoy golf because it is fun and I love the thrill of chasing the gold medal in tournaments. When I do get the win, the feeling is exhilarating! Golf is very similar to other games that I enjoy such as chess and video games. All require me to think on my toes and are always unpredictable which allows me to adapt to changing conditions and strategically plan my future moves. I would love to be a professional golfer as well as a Marine Biologist.
